At BTCS we do not claim to translate into all languages in all subject areas. Although we can and do process other language pairs via our network of accredited translators, our prime focus is on the European languages.

Important differences exist between variants of the same language spoken in different parts of the world. If you know to which countries your document will be sent, please let us know.

How we work to bring you top quality translations
BTCS technical translators usually work into their own language. However, because the key to good translation is thorough understanding, there may be exceptions to this rule. Sometimes we achieve better results by having the best technician available to draft the translation, which is then polished up linguistically during editing and quality control.

Although he was not a native English speaker, we would gladly have used Albert Einstein to translate a paper on quantum physics, had he offered us his services!

For marketing communication material we use a different approach. All work is translated by accomplished writers and then checked for technical content.

Computer-assisted translation
We make full use of client-specific translation databases and CAT tools. These help us address issues such as:

Pick up and delivery of work
Send us your work by e-mail, FTP (password-protected), courier service, snail mail, carrier pigeon - whatever is the easiest for you. Translated material can be delivered in whichever format you require, to a standard of quality at least as good as the original. We will deliver files direct to your computer by email, FTP or instant messaging. If you prefer to receive camera-ready copy we will forward it by courier service.
